The Riverside Pontardawe

The riverside near Pontardawe in the Swansea Valley is a very large park and nature place. It contains the riverside community space, the recreation sports fields, the Swansea Canal, the river Tawe, areas of woodland, National cycle route 43 together with numerous other cycleways and walking trails. It’s a popular local spot for recreation, dog walking, and community events. The river Tawe in Summer can be a popular spot for wild swimming when the river level is low.
